Water does not keep office hours, so neither do we.
A small plumbing practice, run by people who would rather explain the problem than sell you a package. Ring at three in the morning and a licensed plumber picks up — not a call centre reading from a card.
The case for calling early
Almost every expensive repair we attend started as a cheap one that waited until morning.
Water is patient. It finds the seam in the subfloor, the gap behind the cabinet run, the cavity in the wall where nobody looks until the paint blisters. By the time a leak is visible in the room, it has usually been busy somewhere you cannot see for a while.
Which is why the first thing we ask on the phone has nothing to do with money. It is whether you can reach your shut-off valve. That single answer, given in the first minute of the call, decides more of the final bill than anything we do afterwards with a wrench.
So call early, call at an unreasonable hour, call when you are not certain it is serious. We would rather talk you out of a visit than arrive to a floor that has been wet for six hours.

What we are called out for
-
01
Burst and frozen lines
Isolate, cut out the failed run, repipe and pressure-test before we leave. Slab leaks located before anything is broken open.
-
02
Water heaters
A tank that has stopped, started leaking, or will not hold a pilot. Repaired where that is honest, replaced where it is not.
-
03
Drains that have given up
Kitchen, bath, laundry. Cabled or jetted according to what the camera shows, rather than whichever is quicker to invoice.
-
04
Sewer and main line
Waste rising in a tub or floor drain is a main-line matter. Survey, clear, and you keep the footage.
-
05
Leaks you cannot find
A bill climbing with nothing visible. Acoustic and pressure testing, so the wall comes open once and in the right place.
We will tell you the number before we touch anything. If you do not like the number, you pay the visit and we shake hands.

Asked often, answered plainly
What does it cost simply to get someone here?
$145 after hours, which covers the journey and working out what is wrong. Repair is quoted separately and you agree to it first.
Do you really answer on holidays?
Yes, and at night, and at weekends. Those are the hours when a burst line is usually discovered, so those are the hours that matter.
How do I pay?
Card, tap-to-pay or cheque, on site, after the work — never before.
What should I do while waiting?
Close the shut-off valve and keep water away from anything electrical. We will walk you through both, on the phone, before we hang up.
Are you licensed and insured?
Texas Master Plumber licence M-00000 (demo), and $1M general liability cover (demo). Ask to see both at the door; anyone who will not show you is the wrong plumber.
